For some people it\u2019s an ongoing journey, for others it\u2019s a specific destination. Whatever the individual definition of recovery is, what is clear is that with the right support, recovery is possible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>But how is recovery defined?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;Oxford English Dictionary define it as \u2018restoration or return to health from sickness\u2019, and it\u2019s fair to say that this is absolutely possible with OCD.<\/p>\n<blockquote  class=\"x-blockquote center-text\" >Recovery &#8211; restoration or return to health from sickness.<cite class=\"x-cite\">Oxford English Dictionary<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<p>We love how the <a title=\"Scottish Recovery Network (External Website)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scottishrecovery.net\/what-is-recovery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>The Scottish Recovery Network<\/strong><\/a> define recovery, they say recovery means &#8220;being able to live a good life, as defined by the person, with or without symptoms and is more about what you <strong>CAN<\/strong> do, not what you can&#8217;t&#8221;.
